The MgcSTEM DC 5–60V 40A Low Voltage Protection Module is designed to help protect your battery from over-discharge and overcharge. It features two selectable operating modes: discharging protection for low-voltage battery protection and charging protection to disconnect the charging circuit when the preset voltage is reached.
With adjustable voltage settings, programmable delays, and automatic or manual operation, this module offers flexible battery protection for a variety of DC-powered projects.
Wide Voltage Range: Supports DC 5–60V systems, including compatible 12V and 24V battery applications.
40A Maximum Rated Current: Designed for applications within the module's electrical limits.
Two Protection Modes: Select charging protection or discharging protection according to your needs.
Adjustable Settings: Configure voltage thresholds, startup delay, and disconnect delay.
Automatic & Manual Modes: Automatic mode can reconnect when the voltage returns to the configured recovery condition. In manual mode, the relay must be reset manually after disconnection.
Low-Power Operation: Manual mode consumes no power after the relay disconnects. Automatic mode enters low-power standby after disconnection.
Settings Memory: Configured settings are retained when power is disconnected.
Refer to the wiring diagrams below to connect the module correctly for your application. Select the appropriate charging or discharging mode before use, and check all terminal labels and polarity carefully.

Important: This module is a battery charging/discharging protection controller, not a battery charger or a DC-DC voltage converter. Incorrect wiring or reversed polarity may damage the module, battery, or connected equipment.
